CB is diff. as country to country
each country and region has different rule.
in some countries, u dont need any paper, then u can operate. some countries ask for a license. but it's a very easy procedure. just filling a paper, pay some annually license fee.
26.965-27.405mhz , 40 channels. it's a general policy. but each countries' rule is also diff.
like in uk, their cb channel is a little bit below 26.965. for germany, they r also using some extra freq. for am mode.
for power, start from 1w for am mode, 4w for fm/ssb mode. in states, they allow to use 12 w for ssb pep.
anyway, most of operators have their big amp to boost their talking.
cb is funny. it's spirit for freedom. why we need so many licenses, why we have to obey so many stupid rules.
