This version of the firmware adds the Fast Menu Page Select feature that was previously only available for the User Configuration Menu to the System Calibration & Setup Menu. As there are now 15 pages of parameters that can be selected, I felt it was about time I incorporated this useful feature in this menu.
As with the User Configuration Menu, to use this feature, press and hold the MODE button until you hear a long beep. Continue holding the MODE button and use the VFO knob to select the desired page you wish to edit. Release the MODE button, and edit the value/parameter using the VFO knob in the usual way.
Also included with the archive is a revised User Manual.
Bug Fix
Under certain circumstances the user prompt messages when in the System Calibration & Setup sent to the serial port were not displayed - fixed. Tut, tut - the number of times I've berated my students for burying 'magic numbers' in the code instead of using defined manifest constants, and here I am doing it myself!
Since there are no EEPROM changes, you can safely load this version over a previous 1.09 - 1.10 version, but, as with all firmware updates, it is a wise precaution to make a note of your existing calibration and user settings before updating.
