hello fellow contesters in china.
in the upcoming scandinavian activity contest there will be a special awards program. it will include trophies that are sponsored by individuals, who have wanted to award something that is important to them.
i will be sponsoring two trophies:
china single operator activity in sac 2011 – cw
china single operator activity in sac 2011 – ssb
the trophies will not go to the highest scores. instead, it encourages all single-op stations in china to make as many qso’s with scandinavian stations as possible. so here is how this thing works:
work 50 qso’s in the contest and you get 1 raffle ticket. work 100 q’s and you get 2 tickets. 150 q’s will give you 3 tickets and so on. after the results have been published, we will perform a raffle for cw and another for ssb for callsigns who will receive the trophies. the more your work, the better chances you have to win the trophy. the trophies will look something like in the attached picture, these are examples from an earlier case; for this contest a new set of trophies will be made and may look different depending on which tubes we choose to use.
the required qso numbers have been set low enough to have a chance even with a small station. so, everybody, get active on sac, it is only a 24 hour contest!

oct 8-9, 2011, 12-12 utc, ssb
