yesterday i warmed up the modified heathkit sb-200 amplifier (use two 572-b), pushing out approx. 400w during our qso.
look forward to hear you on six meter again.

very nice to meet you on six meter! you are my first qso on 50mhz! i am using a fishing rod with mfj-945e. fishing rod antenna is outside from my 4th floor to neighbor's 2th floor. qso with you by 20w(but seems only 5w output to fishing rod antenna)
see you on six meter next time! best 73!

400w,厉害, 不过6m有传播的时候不需要太大的功率的

这段时间6米都有传播，今天0.5w通了4区的朋友，虽然抄收不是很好，但是还是通上了 。我的817第一次真正qrp,做了收音机这么久，还怕他发射部分发毛了

during es season and good propagation, low power will give you good result and a lot of fun.
it is another story during long haul f2 opening, especially when you hear stations from north america or the caribbean, you need to qro. otherwise you need to wait another cycle (11 years). last cycle, we have two or three opening into north america on six meter, last for few minutes each.

“few minutes window in 11 years” that is the challenge of the magic band.
