9h1za vlad是俄罗斯人，vlad说因为工作很忙，平时很少完电台，甚至连个人呼号都没有申请。今年59岁，13岁的时候，在莫斯科的俱乐部电台开始玩业余电台。直到9年前去了地中海的岛国马耳他后，才开始活跃在空中。
如果经常参加比赛的朋友，对他的呼号应该很熟悉，他往往是在比赛中让我们获得9h字头系数分的少数几个电台之一。vlad现在已经回到莫斯科工作，这次来中国是要考察一些能够加工钟表木外壳的厂家。
vlad向我们介绍了他在马耳他时候使用的自制垂直天线，用四条6米的铝管，接成17米长，顶部用了三条8.5米长的斜拉导线做电容加感，底部自己做了一个匹配网络，可以工作到多个波段。
vlad还告诉我们，马耳他活跃在dx和比赛的电台不多，比赛的时候，欧洲的远征队一般都不愿意去，因为马耳他属于欧洲，和欧洲电台通联只有1分，这样不利于获得高分。所以，每次cqww比赛，他们几个在hf活跃的马耳他电台，十分抢手。
