1- remove power and antenna.
2- remove screws open the case.
3- locate logic board.
4- locate and remove jumper w6 ( rx mode ).
5- locate and cut diode d-13.
6- reassemble the radio.
7- you may be required to reset the microprocessor. (see owners manual)

1- enter desired frequencies in both bands
on: in uhf mode press [ set] & [lock] until " l" flashes.
off: press [set] & lock].
