the firmware update will provide the following improvements:

• improved transmit function in sending transmit memory contents in operation in the rtty/psk mode (using an external keypad)

• improvement in sending voice memory in ssb mode and cw memory keyer contents in the cw mode (using external usb keyboard)

• programmable custom band-edge frequencies. user hears a beep when tuning out of, or into the programmed amateur radio band. an operator can now limit transmitting outside the programmed frequency band.
