well abt my self,
i work at law office since we have a global economic crisis ( since 1998,
after a riots in jakarta ). i am the manager of administration at law
office.
i am a ham since 1982 but making dx qso since 1989. i worked 30.800 qsos
with hams around the world and so far i worked 316 dxcc and confirmed 303
mixed bands mixed modes. mostly i worked cw, but i like rtty, and ssb as
well.
now, i collect and work usa stations to get usca ( united states counties
award ). so far i have 1278 counties in states,.... its really difficult how
to get many more counties hi..hi..
here in indonesia :
yb is "advanced class " yb and ye is the top class and has 500 watts output
permitted from government and more than 5 years validity.
and the second is yc & yf its called as " general class " and has only 250
watt power out put permitted from government and more than 5 years validity,
but yc & yf do not on air at 20 m band only, yb it does.
finally noviced class is called yd, yd & yg is not permitted for dx but if
they work on cw they could be there. the validity is no more than 3 years.
usually all the club stations in indonesia have and advanced classes as
yb1,yb2,yb3 and so on, but the first letter of suffix is z ( i.e.
yb0zaa,yb1zz,yb5zab,yb9zw etc ).
