Dom, 3Z9DX updates to say they have been permitted to move location for the remaining days left. This is mostly for the benefit of EU who have had difficulty working Cocos from the current blocked QTH. The new location will be Chatham Bay.
Another storm arrived earlier today and the ocean again took away the 4-square antennas. For the moment they will use only the 40m vertical.
Other news today confirms the team will stay one day extra meaning they must QRT at approx. 12pm local on the 24th. Meanwhile, the team has decided not to sign /MM on the return to mainland as it appears to confuse some ops even though documentation affirms they can sign TI9/3Z9DX/MM on the way/return.
Earlier today the team reached 11000 QSOs. The initial target of 10K has been reached with 3.5 days remaining.
