ILLW heads towards record
With only 100 more registrations in the International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend held on August 17-18, it will break the existing record.
There are several seafaring nations yet to join the steadily growing list of online registrations - with 21 days to go it's at 374 from 36 countries.
Australia and Germany remain the see-saw leaders, followed by the USA, England, Argentina, Malaysia, Sweden, Netherlands, Canada, Scotland, Ireland and South
Africa.
Organisers are ready for many more registrations in the annual fun event that publicises both the old sea-going navigation methods and portable amateur radio.
Some locations have more than one registration, while others choose to activate for a few hours only, both of these options are most welcome.
