dear all,
have worked and tried one ic-775 dsp in both hong kong and china.
as the dsp design is the first generation of icom and i can not say it is not good, but as ocmpared the lastest ic-756 pro 3 or ( ic-7800 - should not compared ic-7800 as this is in different level), the noise cancellation is still little bit old fashion,.
if anyone have the chance to try the a/b comparision with ic-775 dsp with ic-756 pro 3, you will find that ic-756 pro 3 would be slightly better.
but for base main transceiver, ic-775dsp is really big in size and have 200w output, if using one good 3 to 4 elements yagi, it may be the good combination. but if you compare in extreme condition, i am 100% sure that ic-756 pro 3 would be the winner !
