december 15, 2011 --- due to some minor typographical errors found, the pool files have been removed from download. please visit the site again in about 24-48 hours for new corrected files to be posted.

the ncvec question pool committee hereby releases into public domain, the 2012-2016 extra class question pool.

this pool is effective for vec license examinations on july 1, 2012 and valid until june 30, 2016.

从生效日期看，不影响3月份的session。备考extra的同学还是用旧版比较好。

老美的级别是只有t,g，e三个么？
看了下 us业余波段划分，里面还有2个级别 n和a即 novice和advanced。

楼主解释下n和a，这两个级别是不需要考的么？

另外n和t在hf段好像只能玩cw.不知道理解是否有误。

老美原来的级别是不少的，noivce、technical、technical plus、general、advance、extra


后来改成三个级别 现在只有t,g，e三个。

现在只有三个级别:
technician （需要通过element 2考试）
general （需要通过element 3考试）
amateur extra（需要通过element 4考试）
以前的novice和advanced作为操作级别，现在已经不复存在了。

technician允许操作的hf频段有：
3525-3600 khz cw only
7025-7125 khz cw only
21,025-21,200 khz cw only
28,000-28,300 khz rtty, cw and data
28,300-28,500 khz cw, ssb

现在持有novice证书的火腿，需要通过element 2考试才能享受technician的操作范围。
