Radio Club in Shanghai (DX) [复制链接]

hello every one (sorry to post in english...)

i am emmanuel (french with a us and singapore callsign). and i love dx.
i am in shanghai since 2 years.

i have finaly received my chinese radio operator's certificate for visitor and this means i can finally transmitt from shanghai radio clubs.

i have already contacted the radio club by4aa and by4bzb, but there are quite far from my home (zhudi town) or my work (moaming lu)

do you know if there is another radio club near zhudi town or moaming lu ?
any information are welcome

actually i found your qth on the map and figured out that there are no nearby club stations. there are several club stations(like by4bb and by4ca) near your working qth but i wonder if they are still working. i still think bzb is your best choice.

i have an appointement tomorrow (15h) at by4bzb to meet with the club manager.

it's true that by4bb is just near my work (maoming / huai hai) but there is no email....i am not sure they are still operating. (there was a lot construction near there: new music school too).

nice to meet u here. to be franckly, many clubs have been terminated for long time.
i do not think there's any club near zhudi or maoming rd. also, the equipments in by4aa are not running well as expected.

nice to meet you here on china's most famous ham forum. how about your appointment with the club manager of by4bzb yesterday? if you meet any difficulty, just post your problem here and i can translate it into chinese. i think with the advice of many more hams online inside and outside shanghai, you can manage to transmit from shanghai successfully in the end. also please feel free to draw an e-mail to me.

i meet with kate (by4bzb) manager who open the radio club for me.
i had a very nice welcome and kate speak a good english and they have a very nice installation yaesu with yagi 7 elements.

i will try to go there sometimes on week ends because during the week not very practical with my work.

please let me know if anyone know a radio club closer to my house (zhudi)...

many ham mention that i could apply for a local call and operate my own station..... i thought this was not possible !
does any one know if the regulation has changed ? can i applied for a chinese callsign and have my own station at home ?
(i currently have "amateur radio operator's certificate for visitors" which i applied from beijing)

for info i am also active time to time on echolink under 9v1bp.

unfortunately there is no change on regulation. foreigner can't operate alone or own a station at home.

you have to find a club station or someone elso who has legal ham radio near your location. being a friend of a local ham is the better way to operate radio.

personal ham radio is also allowed to accept legal foreigners to operate, just give you another suggestion.

as mention on my post of march, yes i went to by4bzb, but i didn't had a chance to go again.... week end are quite busy with the family. that is why i hope the by4ca could be available because it is closer from my work and i could go during lunch time may be...
