dear all,

i would like to report that during the weekend iaru contest, worked 72 “b” stations.
however, there are 28 cannot give me the correct contest exchange format.
only gave “59” without the itu zone number. i tried very hard to ask, but without any luck.
i can only treat this as a normal qso and not in my contest score.

no other country has the same problem, so i need to voice out here.

在上周末举行的iaru比赛的时候我和72个"b"电台(中国电台）进行了通联。
however, there are 28 cannot give me the correct contest exchange format.
然而其中有28个中国电台没有给我正确格式的竞赛报告。
only gave “59” without the itu zone number. i tried very hard to ask, but without any luck.
（他们）只报告“59”但没有报告itu分区号。我努力地试着去再三询问，但仍然无果。
i can only treat this as a normal qso and not in my contest score.
我只能把这些通联从比赛日志里删除而当作普通qso。

no other country has the same problem, so i need to voice out here.
没有其他国家有这样的问题，所以我想在这里声明一下。

i also had these problems while opearing ssb several years ago. i simply asked them:" are you in zone 44?" in chinese. in most occassion, i got a satisfactory answer.

i do not have hard feeling with them, just like to point out the facts for improving.
we (including me) need to learn from past experience.

in addition, i have the following observation:
the band condition was very poor during the weekend. however, i heard the ja hq station 8n1hq continued working local ja on 15m in the last few hours. although it is only count (1) point, but with the large volume of ja stations, no doubt they have good results.

average 33 degree c over the weekend, sometimes can’t cool down.
it looks like i need to improve my putonghua first. …

anyway, it is for fun only, no hard feeling.

ps:xmt其实只是想国内的ham在这比赛这方面有更多人----参与,让b台有更大的进步,让世界上其他的hamer更了解b台

xmt上次好象讲过,电脑没有中文输入法.

我记录已经发送到iaru!你是我通的最后一个台!
另xmt是讲不好普通话,可以看懂和听懂中文!习惯英文!哈哈```

另外我也觉得国内有hf设备的ham朋友越来越多, 也有越来越多的人会cw操作, 但是这次 b5hq 在 21mhz cw 模式通到的国内的台的数量非常之少。在传播不好，dx通联困难的情况下，如果能象日本那样有众多的ja台支持jarl 的headquarter 台那样的话，我们 b5hq 的通联电台的数目应该不会只有可怜的490个左右。可能这点也提醒我们今后赛前各地应该加强这方面的组织和宣传
