the united nations headquarters amateur radio station 4u1un in new york city will be qrv starting around 2100z on friday march 20th. team members will include ka2rtd, mohamed; la5iia/nq2g, johnny; n2ga, george; n2un, tony; and w3ur, bernie. the team will be looking especially for those stations that have never worked this dxcc entity and will be specifically looking for certain areas during their prime times.
japan - 20 meters between 2130 and 2300z
vk/zl other pacific - 40 meters from 0900 to 1100z
vk6 - 20 meters 0000z; 40 meters longpath 2230-2330z
when not looking for specific difficult to reach areas activity will include an emphasis on the low bands, especially 80 and 160 meters. they will also be watching the 6 and 60 meter bands as well as rtty. 4u1un will have two stations qrv simultaneously. updates through out this operation will be posted on
