I am an electrical engineer from China and also a ham radio operator. I am currently working in the Maldives, and I have brought my radio equipment with me and applied for a local callsign. It is worth noting that the Maldives only issues temporary callsigns, and the current validity of this callsign is three months – from August 1, 2024 to November 1, 2024. I will be working in the Maldives for several years, and during this time I will renew the callsign.
