i received the unit ok and have it up and running as the interface for the vhf weak signal program wsjt and while it controls satisfactorily i note that i have a couple of problems. the device produces some hash interference on receive in some sectors of the 2 metre band and this is of considerable concern the use of ferrite devices on the signal leads doesn't have any helpful effect so i mention this to allow you to feed the information back to the manufacturer and in the hope that a cure may be found. i have not as yet tested it on 432 mhz so cannot comment there but would suggest that further checks should be made by the manufacturer. i have had a couple of contacts and find that it works quite well in controlling the transceiver as required but one other thing is that the 'data' light does not function on transmit but to me this is a minor concern. please keep me informed of any results to my comments, regards, peter mcewen, vk3so.
