Improved remote control of the IC-7800, without needing a Base (server) PC. (RS-BA1 version 1.60 or later required.)
- Improved to prevent voice skip when a network delay and/or high packet loss occurs.
- Improved to prevent voice delay.
•Thoroughly read Section 16 (UPDATING THE FIRMWARE) of the instruction manual (here) for details of what the update requires.
•Backup your transceiver's data onto a CF card as it is possible that your data could get lost or corrupted during the update.
•Never turn OFF the transceiver power during the update.
•The firmware update utility is necessary when updating the firmware through a LAN. Download the utility here.

Note
• When you use the RS-BA1 with a USB 3.0 device, you must use a USB 3.0 driver. Download the driver here.
• RC-28 firmware version 1.01 or later is required for the RC-28. Download the firmware here.
• When you update the control software: 1.Download and expand the Rsba1_up_ver160.zip.
2.Double-click Update.exe to start the software update.
3.Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
• You must have a previous version of the RS-BA1 software installed BEFORE you can update to version 1.60.
CAUTION
• The Recover_Setup_Rsba1.reg file is included in the Rsba1_up_ver160.zip. Execute the Recover_Setup_Rsba1.reg file ONLY if you need to reinitialize the RS-BA1's settings.
